#26 Onions in Gravy (Revisited)


 
Initially, I prepared this recipe with white pearl onions.  I was curious as to the differences in taste if using red pearl onions.  I also used some white onion, and I couldn't discern any difference. Your palate may vary.   Peeling pearl onions takes a little effort but it helps to have a great sous chef!
Sauteed some white onion for this.

The red pearl onions cooked up very nicely

Voila! Add bread and cheese for French Onion Soup!
